Scimitar available
(26 August 2011)
The Scimitar is available now, as you can see from the shop pictures. And here's a link to the Ambush Alley forum, and a review by someone who had the first off the shelf:
http://ambushalleygames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=7614
He seems to like it - I hope you all do too.
Now I'm looking at Technicals, having seen this YouTube video:

I wonder how long it takes for them to get used to driving backwards

Strykers are shipping!
(26 January 2011)
Some good news at last - the Strykers are finished and I've started shipping. If you haven't heard from me that your order is on its way, it won't be long - it just means you are in the list

Strykers
(07 January 2011)
I should be able to start filling Stryker orders next week. What with bad weather and now swine flu, it hasn't been a good start to the year - sorry for the delay.

Happoy Christmas to all Imprint Models customers - hope you have a good 2011 and a great year of gaming.
Thanks for all your support in 2010.

Yet more snow.
(20 December 2010)
It's still snowing, and temperatures are not getting above zero, so the delays I spoke about in my last news item are ongoing.
Apologies to everyone who is waiting.

Orders delay
(03 December 2010)
Apologies for the delay in some orders, but the snow is making things a bit difficult at the moment.
Hopefully normal service will be resumed next week.

Prices, Empress, and Stryker thanks
(19 November 2010)
Finally put the prices up today. Sorry, but necessary - they've been kept static for a long time, and costs have caught up.
On a brighter note, Empress Miniatures have decided to stock Imprint Models, and will have some at Reading this weekend.
Finally, thanks for all the Stryker orders. The moulds have yet to be made, so I hope you will be patient. You will be first on the list when they are ready to send!

Stryker masters finished
(13 November 2010)
The Stryker masters (ICV and MGS)are now finished, and the models will be available after moulding and casting. They can be pre-ordered, and this would seem a good time to increase prices all round, because of the price hike in resin, rubber and metal over the past year. Apologies all round, but it can't be helped.

Problem resolved
(04 November 2010)
Hopefully the Paypal glitch has been sorted. If anyone else encounters a problem, please email me.

Paypal problem
(03 November 2010)
Apologies to everyone who is experiencing order problems at the moment, but the Paypal link is not working. Paypal is proving difficult to A) contact in the first place, and B) get some answers from.
In the meantime you can still place orders, but you will have to pay using your own Paypal account to: bob@imprintmodels.co.uk
PS: Strykers won't be long now.

Vacation time

Stryker
(09 July 2010)
Thanks to gamers on the TMP forum, who decided I should produce a Stryker next, work on the next two models - the Stryker !CV and the Stryker MGS - is well under way.
That's the good news. The bad is that really hot weather here at the moment is affecting casting: resin is going off almost as soon as it is mixed. This means some parts are not as good as they should be, so I apologise in advance and hope for cooler weather.
Bad news 2: Resin, rubber and metal prices (and shipping costs!) rose a lot last year, and have finally caught up with me. I haven't increased model prices for some time, but may soon be forced to. I'll give more notice nearer the time so it doesn't come as too much of a shock, but they may all have to be increased by £2

Order delays.
(19 February 2010)
I have to apologise to everyone who has been waiting for models for more than two weeks, but all the moulds have been re-made (which always results in unforseen problems and delays) and new resin is being used which is resulting in much better castings. Existing orders should be shipped next week (if there are no more problems!) Some models may have a mix of parts, some in white resin, and some in the new grey, but eventually they will all be in grey.
Thanks for your patience.

T-90 for sale
(08 February 2010)
The T-90 is finally ready for sale. I have to get some different pictures for the site, and complete the assembly and production details, but at least they are\now available to order.
|
|
T-90 hold-up
(13 January 2010)
Production of the T-90 has been delayed for a little while ... because of the weather!
This country always grinds to a halt with a couple of centimetres of snow, so deiveries of rubber and resin have been held up.
Sorry - will get onto it as soon as the lorry driver battles his way through.

T-90 master
(30 November 2009)
The T-90 master is now finished, and I shall be posting a picture of it on TMP soon. It should be ready for sale in about three weeks, but you can always email me with pre-orders if you want to be first on the list.
Thanks for being patient,
Bob

T-72 ERA
(09 September 2009)
I was planning to produce a T-72 with ERA tiles, but the changes involved would mean virtually a whole new model. All the ERA versions have modified decking on the hull, grenade launchers and snorkel in a different place, and in many cases different bins on the turret.
However, those who want an up-armoured T-72 can either wait until the T-90 arrives (work has started on it) or shout at me to produce some ERA bricks separately!

|
T-72
(03 September 2009)
The T-72 is finally ready to sell. It is the T-72M1, mainstay of the Iraq forces during the Gulf wars, and the tank that has been bought and copied more than any other.
I have kept the price in line with the other models, but pressure is building to increase prices all round.
So enjoy it while the price is right!

Away again
(06 August 2009)
Here I go again ... I'm away from now until August 15, so any orders placed before then will not be processed until I get back.
With apologies ...

Next week ...
(02 July 2009)
With apologies ... Imprint Models will be on vacation for a week from July 3, so any orders received will not be processed until the following week.

T72 finished!
(22 June 2009)
Finally, the T72 is finished. I just have to get the small parts cast in metal. Before that though, I will put a picture up on The Miniatures Page.

Casting improvement
(29 March 2009)
Some of you will have noticed that parts of the LAV25 are being produced in a different , harder resin. It also comes in grey, which gives a much better definition for painting. The casting is done by Grey Matter Figures, who produce much better quality than I can, so I am hoping to have all the models cast by them eventually. It will be a slow process, but worh the wait. In the meantime you may find that your order has some grey and some white resin parts.
|
|
New model
(29 March 2009)
After some delay, work has finally started again on a model of the T72 used in Iraq. It will come with a separate set of ERA armour that can be applied where needed. I'm hoping the master will be finishing by the end of April.

Email issues resolved.
(31 March 2008)
We have now resolved all the email issues and all is working as it should, so please continue to place your orders!
It turned out that the same problem was also causing the site to run very slow, so we've solved two problems in one hit and things are running smoothly again.
As always, if you encounter any technical issues with the site, please feel free to send an email to support@imprintmodels.co.uk or use the feedback form.

Website inquiries
(07 January 2008)
Hi everyone,
Just a note to say that if you send me an inquiry via support@imprintmodels.co.uk you need to include a return email address. As things stand, I can only return it to the website! I shall set about getting that fixed asap.
Mark - if you see this, I need your email address to send you some pictures I think may be of help.

M113
(11 June 2007)
Two more models in the M113 series are now available. They are the basic APC, and the TOW launcher.
The APC can be used as the original version, or with the addition of the front armour plate and external fuel tanks, included with the model, as the A2 or A3 versions.
If you want a grenade launcher instead of the .50 cal machine gun, just specify that with the order.
The TOW launcher, the same as that used on the Hummer, is provided with a simple resin attachment to take it above the hatch, and can be turned 360 degrees.
The only other version to come is the M901 ITV, which will complete a family of four M113 models.
|
Heavy weapon packs
( 20 March 2007)
We are now selling packs of heavy weapons, which means your figures can have accurately detailed ground-based support from a TOW, .50 cal mg or Mk 19 grenade launcher, all on tripods.
The weapons are available in packs of three different, or all the same.
|
New models - the M113 family
( 20 March 2007)
We are about to produce a family of 1/50 scale M113 models in resin and metal.
First is the M1064A3 Mortar Carrier, complete with an 80mm mortar in metal.
This will be followed by a TOW version, then an Improved TOW (the M901) and an APC.
All the models can be used as either an early or late version, as they are provided with detachable external fuel tanks, which is the main outward difference betwen early or later models.
